Training Goal Keepers Since 19XX

What is Absolute Goaltending?

Absolute Goaltending develops goalies at all levels; whether you are a beginner or a high-level rep goalie.  You will experience the AG difference from the start. We recognize that all goalies are not made the same and we approach your development based on what suits your style best.

Together, we build a custom development plan that includes assessment, training schedule, feedback (written, oral, video) and game analysis.

In addition to playing at some of the highest levels in hockey, the NCAA and the CHL, Matthew Bourgeois, has been privileged to work with a variety of goaltenders from Tyke to Pro in Canada and in Europe. Currently Matthew is working with several teams, both male and female, in Durham Region and the GTHL, the OMHA and OWHA.

He brings a program that will rapidly improve your understanding of the goaltending position and give you the skills to be successful.

All instructors have completed the AG Coaching Certification that will ensure that all goalies are being taught consistently in the same manner.

All students are automatically assessed and placed in the AG Goaltending Certification program that will start them out at the appropriate level and will progress through the different levels as their skills develop.

Programs available include individual lessons, group lessons, and team development.

Coaches Take Advantage!!  Matthew will work with you to develop a program catered to your goalies and your team budget.  This includes drills for during your team’s practice, goalie specific lesson plans, and continual feedback to the coaches, goalie and goalie parents.
